Not if it is done correctly. We keep all changes in a custom app and follow Frappe's hooks and extension points, so upgrades go smoothly.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. The code is delivered to your Git repository, and you are free to maintain it yourself or with another team.
Can you work on an app built by someone else?
Yes. We start with a short code review, explain what we find and then fix or extend the app.
